Incorporated in 1927, the Castleton Fish & Game Protective Association, Inc. is one of the oldest continually operating private, not for profit fish & game associations in New York State.

Facilities include an onsite clubhouse and 4 ranges. A 50 foot indoor range hosts 8 positions suitable for small bore rifle, pistol, and air gun. An outdoor 50 yard pistol range provides 30 covered firing points and turning targets at 25 yards. A 100 yard rifle range offers 10 covered positions and shooting benches. Finally, the club hosts a lighted regulation trap field with automatic trap machine.

The club supports the community through various activities including hunter safety courses, pistol safety courses, 4-H shooting programs, Boy Scout shooting qualification, and local high school scholarship for conservation and ecology.

Members of the Castleton Fish and Game Protective Association, Inc. carry on the traditions for which the club was founded through education, the protection of wildlife and natural resources, responsible enjoyment of shooting sports, and outdoor activities.
